Building Regulations Submission.
Building Regulations are a compulsory part of any build. RA Design will supply detailed plans, sections, reports etc to Building Control and co-ordinate other Consultants as required. We can also help advise on Building Notices and Retrospective applications. At RA Design we regularly attend CPD events to keep us up to date with all the changes that occur in this sector.
CDM Regulations for Principle Designers.
For any projects involving more than one contractor, it is the duty of the appointed Principal Designer to plan, manage, monitor and co-ordinate any health and safety matters during the pre-construction phase - ensuring they are in accordance with Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations introduced in 2015.
Water Calculations.
The Government is driving a sustainable development programme that mandates improved water efficiency in the built environment. Part G of the Building Regulations now includes water efficiency for the first time. The Government updated Part G of the Building Regulations in April 2010. The details will be specified using the methodology set out in the 'Water Efficiency Calculator for New Dwellings' also used for the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Energy Calculations.
Energy calculations are required for any new build. At RA Design we work with an Energy Consultant who can provide these calculations along with SAP reports and Part O over heating calculations when required.
